SAR-E-PUL (SW) – The Taliban rebels have publically lashed a woman in Sar-e-Pul province for alleged extramarital affair.
Zabehullah Amani, spokesman for the provincial governor, told Salam Watandar the incident took place in the Oqaf area of the Sancharak district. He said the women is named Aziza, a native resident of the Tabeer area of the district.
He said the rebels publically lashed this woman in an area under their clout.
The Taliban have not commented on this incident.
