MAIMANA (SW): The Taliban have lynched a local militia commander in Faryab’s Shirin Tagab district, an official confirmed on Saturday.
Abdul Kareem Yourish, spokesman for the police in the province, informed the pro-government militia leader, Mula Karam, was first killed, later his body was dragged behind a car and then stoned. He informed the rebels also wounded two sons of the slain militia commander.
In the meantime, the family members of Mula Karam have blamed the government for not coming for the rescue of him, or helping bring back his dead body from the Taliban custody.
