PUL-E-KHUMRI (SW) – Security sources in Baghlan confirmed that at least 13 policemen got killed in Pul-e-Khumri in the Taliban’s attacks.
According to the well-placed sources, the insurgents stormed police directorate in the Dasht-e-Alwan area last night killing 13 policemen including head of the directorate. The source further said the insurgents took away arms and ammunition from the facility with them.
As per the source, some guards of the police directorate collaborated with the insurgents in orchestrating this deadly attack.
Head of the public hospital, Muhibullah Muhib, has confirmed that six dead bodies and three wounded individuals were brought to the hospital.
The Taliban have claimed responsibility for the attack.
