PUL-I-KHOMRI (SW): Taliban shot dead three residents before their family members’ very eyes in Qandahariha village in Central Baghlan district on Thursday night accusing them of cooperating with the government.
Abdul Rashid Bashir, Baghlan Police Chief, told Salam Watandar that the victims were ordinary farmers and had no connection with any government security organization.
He said that the militants commit atrocious crimes against the locals in the areas under their control.
He added that the militants executed two other locals a few days ago in Tangi Morch district in the province.
It is worth mentioning that currently the armed Taliban have active presence in Dand-e-Ghori, Dand-e-Shahabuddin and other districts in Baghlan who continue to impose their own laws in the mentioned areas and extort money from the residents.
