QALA-I-NAW (SW): The Taliban insurgents have killed 6 Afghan National Civil Order Police (ANCOP) members and taken 5 more with themselves in Badghis province.
Ghulam Sarwar Haidari, the security chief at the provincial police headquarters, told Salam Watandar that the incident took place in Kudilan area of the provincial capital. According to him, the Taliban took 5 other ANCOP policemen with themselves to an unknown location.
He assured that security forces are dispatched to the location of the incident to bring the dead bodies of the ANCOP members and investigate the kidnapping.
Bahwuddin Qadesi, a provincial council member, confirming the incident said the Taliban have looted the equipment of the policemen as well.
The Taliban have not commented to media on the matter yet.
