KABUL (SW) – The National Security Council said on Saturday that the Taliban continue to take the lives of civilians in Afghanistan.
According to the NSC, this past week, the Taliban killed 23 civilians, including women and children, and wounded 45 others in 16 provinces.
This violent phase of attacks on civilian can only deteriorate the already shaken trust on the will of the Taliban, said the NSC spokesman, Javid Faisal.
As per the NSC, most of these civilian casualties were inflicted in Kabul, Nangarhar, Kandahar, Paktika, Takhar, Baghlan and Herat provinces.
The Taliban have not commented on it.
