CHAGCHARAN (SW): A group of civilian travelling on the Ghor – Herat highway have been abducted by the Taliban.
Abdul Baseer Qaderi, deputy chairman for Ghor provincial council, informed Salam Watnadar that all of the abducted passengers are residents of Ghor province. He said they were travelling form Feroz Koh city to Herat city when the Taliban associated with their commander Mulla Ahmad intercepted them.
The provincial council deputy chairman further said the passengers have been abducted from the Dahan-e-Hisarak area in Shahrak district. The provincial security officials have said they are not aware about the incident yet.
The Taliban have not commented on the incident.
