Taliban abduct engineers from Baghlan

PUL-E-KHUMRI (SW): The Taliban rebels have abducted seven engineers, including foreigners, associated with a private electricity supply company in Baghlan province.

Well-placed sources informed Salam Watandar the men have been abducted from the Khwaja Alwan area in the Pul-e-Khumri. The sources informed among the abducted men include six Indian nationals. The source informed the engineers were on their way from office to a sub-station in the area.

The abducted engineers are said to be employees of the KEC firm.
