KABUL (SW): The suicide explosion happened in Lab-e Jar square in Khair Khana area of Kabul.
The attack was carried out precisely when a number of supporters of the Balkh Governor, Atta Mohammad Noor, had gathered in a restaurant in Kabul.
Basir Mujahid, spokesperson for the Kabul Police said that 7 security forces were killed and 7 other of these forces were wounded. According to him, 2 civilians were killed and 3 were wounded.
The eyewitnesses said that they only saw 10 ranger cars carrying the dead bodies and injured persons from the incident area.
So far, no group has claimed responsibility for the attack.
