LASHKARGAH (SW): The police headquarters in Helmand province came under attack before noon on Wednesday.
Local authorities in the province said that a suicide car bomber drove into entrance gate of the police headquarters in the provincial capital Lashkargah city.
Abdul Salam, the provincial police spokesman, told Salam Watandar the suicide attack killed 2 policemen and injured 3 more.
According to him, 40 civilians, including 25 madrasa (religious school) students, were injured in the incident.
So far, no group has claimed responsibility for the incident.
