GHAZNI (SW) – A suicide car bombing involving a Humvee in Ghazni province has killed two policemen and wounded 13 others.
Ramzan Ali Mohseni, director security in Ghazni, told Salam Watandar the incident took place in the provincial capital, Ghazni city. He said two policemen got killed and three policemen got injured in this attack aimed at an Afghan National Army compound. He added ten civilians also got injured in this attack.
He said the attacker wished to enter the city center, but the policemen intercepted it upon which the attacker blew the explosives.
Head of the public hospital, Baaz Mohammad Himmat, said the dead bodies of two security personnel and two civilians have been brought here. He confirmed a total of 16 injured people including five security forces have been brought for treatment.
There has been no immediate claim of responsibility for the attack.
