PUL-E-ALAM (SW): A suicide attack rocked the provincial capital of Logar province on Tuesday.
Saleem Saleh, spokesman for the provincial governor, told Salam Watandar the suicide attack took place in the Baraki Barak area of the Pul-e-Alam city. He said the attacker got killed and 11 other people got wounded in the attack.
The spokesman further said the apparent target of the attack was Mohammad Ayub Wardag, director for security in the province, but he escaped unhurt.
No group has claimed responsibility for the attack.
