FAIZABAD (SW): An explosive-laden motorbike was detonated in Keshm district in northern province Badakhshan on Monday which left 9 dead and 35 more injured.
It is said that the victims are all civilians.
Faiz Begzad, governor for the province, confirming the incident, said that the attack has occurred in Chawk area.
Local residents stated that the explosives were placed in a motorbike. They said more than 60 people have been killed and dozens have been injured.
They added that the blast took place in a crowded market.
Salam Watandar’s correspondent said the wounded civilians remain in a critical condition.
