KABUL (SW): At least 14 Nepali security contractors were killed in a suicide attack and 9 more were injured here in Kabul on Monday.
A statement released by the Ministry of Interior Affairs said that the attack has left 14 Nepali security guards killed and 5 more injured. The statement added that 4 Afghans have also been injured in the attack.
The attack occurred on Wazir Akbar Khan 13th Street and targeted a minibus carrying Nepali security guards.
It is reported that the victims were on their way to the Canadian embassy where they worked as security guards.
Eyewitnesses, on the other hand, said that the suicide attack has inflicted more casualties than what has been reported by the Ministry of Interior Affairs.
