KABUL (SW): Out of respect to the dedication and sacrifices of the security forces, an optical store in downtown Kabul has announced 20 per cent discount for security personnel.
The Rehan Optical Store in Kabul has been present near the Kabul River in the old bazaar of the city for past many years, selling different optical products such as spectacles, eye lenses, and different hearing devices. Safa Mohammad, owner of the shop, told Salam Watandar the discount has been on offer for a year now.
Explaining the reasons behind such a special discount, he said everything is closely related to peace and security, hence the security forces deserve much respect and encouragement. Safa Mohammad said not many security personnel seem to be aware about the offer, but when they do visit his shop, and find out about the discount, they get very happy.
Mohammad Siddiq, an employe at Rehan Optical Store, informed spectacles here cost from AFN 300 to AFN 12,000. The owner of this shop offering special discount to security forces wants all Afghans to pay tribute and respect to the security forces.
