KABUL (SW): In the ongoing Roshan Afghan Premier League, a nail-biting encounter between the Simurg Alburz and the De Maiwand Atalan ended in a draw on Wednesday.
In this match, both teams managed to score one goal each in the first half. Farhad Adeel scored the first goal of the match for his team the Simurg Alburz. Their lead was short-lived as Yar Mohammad from the De Maiwand Atalan equalized it minutes later.
In the second half, the leading teams of the APL created many good opportunities, but failed to turn them into goals. With points’ difference, De Maiwand Atalan cruised through to the second round. The Simurg Alburz has 5 points while De Maiwand Atalan has 7 points.
On Thursday, the Spinghar Bazan would take on the Uqaban-e-Hindukush.
