JALALABAD (SW) – Unknown armed assailants have killed three guards at the shrine of Syed Ahmad Gillani in Nangarhar province.
Attaullah Khogyani, spokesman for the governor, told Salam Watandar the incident took place in the Sur Rod district of the province. He added three people got killed and three more got wounded in this incident.
The attackers have fled the site of the assault, but efforts are underway to arrest them, he added. There has been no immediate claim of responsibility for the attack.
It is speculated the pro-Daesh militants might be behind this attack.
