SAR-I-PUL (SW): Hundreds of residents of Sar-i-Pul province at a gathering announcing their support of the Coalition for the Rescue of Afghanistan (CRA), lamented that Arg (Presidential Palace) has created ‘plan to make the Northern provinces of the country unstable’.
They warned that if the Arg continues to plot against political figures, they will ‘overthrow the government’.
Taj Mohammad Khorasani, the president of the Sar-i-Pul Youth Movement, addressing the gathering said that President Ghani wants to remove all political figures from the political scene of the country and hold the power in the Arg.
According to, Abdul Rashid Dostum, the 1st VP of the country, will soon return to Afghanistan and no one will be able to stop his entering the country.
The protesters blamed several officials in Arg for making the Northern provinces insecure by equipping terrorist groups.
Masooma Ramazani, the deputy of the provincial council, the President of the country is surrounded by opportunist people who are Taliban sympathizers and such people should not have a say in the future of the government.
Mohammad Arif Sharifi, the president of the provincial chapter of Jamiat party, also said that the continued fall of district and killings of people are not coincidences, all incidents ‘have root in the Arg’.
But, Shah Hussein Murtazawi, the presidential palace spokesman, reacting to the supporters of the Coalition for the Rescue of Afghanistan said that Arg does not have any opinion on this matter.
The CRA supporters issuing a 12 articles resolution called for transparency in the Procurement Committee, the dismissal of incapable security officials, the return of the first vice president to the country, preventing political plots of government against political leaders and securing the lives of the citizens.
