An agreement has been signed here between Salam Afghanistan Media Organization and the Embassy of Canada within the parameters of the Canada Fund for Local Initiatives (CFLI).
The core objectives of the project included to raise awareness about the coronavirus, to provide accurate information about the pandemic, to counter misinformation about the coronavirus and to streamline communications between the people and the Government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan through media activities and social support campaigns. The project has been designed to last for three months.
The SAMO highly regards this partnership as an important move forward in tackling the pandemic of the mammoth scale.
