GHAZNI ( SW) – A roadside bomb exploded in Ghazni province killing five security forces, an official confirmed.
Chairman provincial assembly, Naseer Ahmed Faqiri said the incident took place in the Deh Yak district of the province. He said a similar blast in the district on Sunday injured five soldiers.
Aziz Azimi, governor's spokesman, confirmed the incident without sharing details about the death toll. He blamed the Taliban for planting the bomb.
The death toll has also been confirmed by the head of public hospital, Bazz Mohammed.
There was immediate claim of responsibility for the attack.
