KANDAHAR (SW): A road accident on the busy Kandahar – Herat highway has killed at least five passengers and left more than 40 injured.
Qudratullah Khoshbakht, spokesman for the provincial governor in Kandahar, told Salam Watandar that a passenger bus crashed in the ‘Shah Agha Do Rahe’ area in the province this morning. He confirmed five passengers have died, more than 40 are wounded while the situation of at least ten injured passengers is critical.
The bus was carrying passengers from Kandahar to Herat.
