KABUL (SW): According to reports, the leading Spanish club, Real Madrid wanted to sign Brazilian Neymar to play for them instead of Cristiano Renaldo.

The website (Focus Sports) according to the Spanish sources has written that Neymar’s father has recently met with Real Madrid president “Florentino Perez” to discuss the move from Paris Saint-Germain back to Spain.

The aim of this visit of the father of Neymar (25-years old) was to suspend the chances of Cristiano Renaldo ahead of his son in the Real Madrid club.

Neymar became the most expensive footballer of all time after the contract was signed for 198 million pounds to transfer from Barcelona to Paris St-Germain (PSG).

Focus Sports wrote that although Neymar played well for the French club so far, and in the 11 series scored 12 goals, but the possibility is that if PSG does not win the international recognition, so will let go, this expensive man in the history of football, from their team.

The PSG currently held the first position title in the first round of the French Football Tournament.

Real Madrid club was in competition with Barcelona in 2013 to attract Neymar, which Barcelona suceeded, however, this club has not yet given up on this player to bring him back.

The Real Madrid club agreement with the famous Portuguese player Cristiano Renaldo expires in 2021, but Real Madrid has already started searching for his replacement.

It is believed that the leading Spanish and the European Football Club, Real Madrid stressed that Neymar will fill the gap for the loss of Renaldo in future.

The 32 years old Cristiano Renaldo has 8 goals to his name from 13 games, and after 48 attempts, he just got one goal, but his domestic form is a real cause for concern.

By contrast, the Brazilian forward had scored 105 goals in 186 games for the Barcelona and many times, the team had won the highest honor with his efforts.
