KABUL (SW) – A protest demonstration was staged in Kabul on Wednesday for the release of Nezamuddin Qaisari, district police chief in Faryab province, and his security guards.
The residents of Qaisar district of Faryab held the protest demonstration demanding release of the men. They said there is no information on the whereabouts of these men for the past 24 days.
They warned to continue with their protests if their demands are not met.
Salam Watandar wished to have the view of the Attorney General’s Office, but to no avail.
Qaisari was arrested 24 days ago in Faryab, and moved to Kabul. The arrest and alleged manhandling of the arrested men sparked anger and protest against the government.
