PUL-I-ALAM (SW): Hundreds of people gathered in Pul-i-Alam, provincial capital of Logar, to stage a protest demonstration against Pakistan.
The protesters gathered at the Martyres Square in the city, and chanted slogans against Pakistan for its policies of intrusion and promotion of terrorism in Afghanistan. Hoisting the national flag of Afghanistan in their hands, they chanted slogans against Pakistan, and torched flag of Pakistan.
Ahmad Farhad and Mohammad Akram, two participants of the rally, told Salam Watandar Pakistan has always deceived the Afghans, and does not deserved to befriend with. They charged Pakistan has for long been the breading ground of terrorism.
The protesters also called for closing down the Embassy of Pakistan in Kabul, and ending trade in the Pakistani rupee.
