SHEBERGHAN (SW): Security officials of Darz Aab district have said pro-Daesh militants have shot dead 3 hostages in Jawzjan province.
The corpses of the 3 dead hostages were found in a water well by the security official, and were handed over to the relatives of the victims on Saturday morning.
Abdul Hafiz Khashi, security chief at the provincial police headquarters, said the Daesh rebels had taken these 3 men as hostage on the Wednesday night last week in Darz Aab district of the province. He said the rebels shot them dead before throwing their bodies in the water well. He further said the 3 men had no connections with security forces.
The displaced residents of Darz Aab who are now seeking refuge in Naw Abad village of Qosh Taba district of the province complained about the lack of security, negligence of the government and surge of militant activities of Daesh rebels. Abdullah, one of the displaced persons of Darz Aab, said pro-Daesh rebels are getting stronger day by day in the district, and the government does not have any clear strategy for the elimination of such rebels.
Ghulam Sakhi, another displaced person from the district, urged the government to strive for the stability of the province so that people can live in peace.
