SHEBERGHAN (SW): Locals in Jawzjan province’s Darzab district claimed the pro-Daesh militants have looted equipment of two schools before destroying the school buildings.
On condition of anonymity, the Awlad village residents informed Salam Watandar that the militants compelled the locals to collaborate for it.
Baaz Mohammad, interim district governor, said in this regard that the militants looted equipment from a school for girls and one school for boys within a kilometer distance from the police headquarters. He has warned if the government failed to conduct security operation here, the district might fall to the militants.
Mohammad Ismaeel, the district police chief, has acknowledged the incident. The pro-Daesh militants have not commented on it.
