CHIGHCHIRAN (SW): Security officials have arrested a family for having ties with Daesh militants in Ghor province.
According to security officials, members of this arrested family belong to Pakistan and Kazakshtan. The family was arrested in Morgh Aab area while traveling.
Ghulam Mustafa Mohsini, provincial police chief, told Salam Watandar that the family consists of 2 women, 1 man and a child. “The family had Daesh propaganda material and 65 thousand Pakistani rupees”, informed Mohsini.
The family confessed that they were on their way to join Daesh insurgents in Morgh Aab area of Feroz Koh in the province. Previously, members of provincial council had claimed that members of Daesh are coming from south and southwestern provinces posing as internally displaced persons.
