KABUL (SW): Mohammad Alim Ezidyar, First Deputy Chairman at the Masharano Jirga (upper house) has said that the President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani would talk about resuming peace talks during his meetings with the high ranking officials of Pakistan during the Heart of Asia-Istanbul Process Conference.

During the session on Wednesday, he said this time the Afghan Government should resume talks with Pakistan with wisdom and cohesive mindset.

He urged that the Afghan Government should not beguiled by Pakistan as was done in regard to the death of Mulla Mohammad Omar in July that hindered the second round of peace talks.

This comes at a time when the Ministry of Foreign Affairs earlier announced that no talks would take place about resuming peace talks at the Heart of Asia-Istanbul Process Conference.

During the session, Fazal Hadi Muslimyar, the speaker of Mashrano Jirga said that high-ranking officials from many countries would take part in the conference.

He said that Afghanistan must share proof with the world on this occasion about Pakistan’s interference in Afghanistan`s internal affairs.

It is worth mentioning that on Monday, President Ghani while sharing the outcome of his trip to the European countries last week said that Afghanistan has adapted a clear regional politics towards Pakistan.

He said Afghanistan wants to hold talks with those with whom it has serious problem.
