KABUL (SW) – President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani on Monday visited Parwan province to inaugurate development projects.
Addressing the locals, Ghani underlined the importance of Parwan province for the security of the capital Kabul. He urged the local business community to share ideas for investment in the province. Ghani said positive results of the promises made with people of Parwan would materialize in two months’ time.
The president inaugurated the industrial park costing AFN 20 million with capacity for 17 industrial units in the province. Ghani urged the local to take active part in the polls and also encouraged them to join the security forces.
Speaking on the occasion, Fazaludin Ayat, provincial governor, requested the president to help build more bridges in the province, and facilitate fish farming for growth in economic activity.
