KABUL (SW): Mohammad Ashraf Ghani, the president of Afghanistan, addressing the nation before the Friday prayers said that Pakistan is providing safe haven to Taliban and Islamabad should take practical and serious steps to fight and eliminate the terrorist groups from its soil.
‘The terrorists who have been detained in connection with the recent attacks have acknowledged from where they have taken orders’, president Ghani said.
President Ghani put Pakistan on notice and said: “Pakistan is the center of Taliban, and now it’s time for Islamabad, to do for all the other Muslim countries what it wants for itself”.
President Ghani vowed to reform the security and intelligence agencies in the country so that they could provide ample security to the nation.
The list of all terrorist groups involved in Afghanistan has been handed over to Pakistan and the Afghan government is awaiting Pakistan’s action in this regard, President Ghani added.
