KABUL (SW): President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani departed to Saudi Arabia on Saturday afternoon to participate in the Arab-Islamic Summit against terrorism.
Shah Hussein Murtazawi, spokesman for Arg (Presidential Palace), told a press conference that the President would take part in this key summit, and would also hold meeting with King Salman bin Abdul Aziz Al-Saud, of Saudi Arabia. “President Ghani is looking forward to discuss mutual fight against terrorism”, informed Murtazawi.
The spokesman also told the press that Afghanistan will be hosting a conference for the landmark “Kabul Initiative” in July to have discussions with regional and allied countries for combating terrorism, and ensuring peaceful solution to the conflict.
