KABUL (SW) – The National Directorate of Security claimed to have killed the main culprit behind Sunday’s deadly suicide car bombing at a training facility in Maidan Wardak province.
In a statement on Wednesday, NDS noted planner of the attack, commander Noman, was killed along with his seven fellows in Maindan Shahr last night in an air raid.
Two days ago, up to 36 security forces were confirmed killed and at least 40 more got wounded in a suicide attack on a training facility in Maidan Shahr involving an armored vehicle packed with explosives.
Four more attackers, who wished to enter the compound, were shot dead by the security forces.
The suicide blast at the NDS facility was so intensive it sent shockwaves across one kilometer of radius.
