KUNAR (SW): Pakistan Military has fired 435 rockets on the districts of Dangaam and Sarkano in Kunar province since yesterday.
This comes after the recent visit of Pakistan Prime Minister, Khaqan Abbasi to Kabul; meanwhile, hundreds of residents of these two districts have left their areas due to the severity of rocket attacks.
Residents of Dangaam and Sarkano, who have been living under the tents away from their areas, told Salam Watandar that they are facing many problems; however, local officials informed that the displaced people have received preliminary help so far and efforts are underway to provide them lodges and food in the near future.
Gul Mohammad Beidar, deputy governor of Kunar province told Salam Watandar that during the past few days, more than 800 families have been displaced from Dangaam and Sarkano districts and the local government has been trying to help them.
According to local officials, the rockets have been fired from across the border on and off since yesterday.
