KABUL (SW) –More than 6600 development projects have been executed in the past two years alone in line with the Citizens Charter Program.
This was announced by officials at the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development here on Saturday. Esa Qudrat, deputy minister for projects at the MoRRD, said on the occasion the development projects have been executed in villages, towns and cities across the country.
He said much of the first year in the execution of these projects passed in recruiting staff and acquiring material while in the second year the development projects were executed in 160 villages nationwide.
The officials also vowed to build 6000 new schools across the country in line with the Citizens Charter Program via the MoRRD. It was mentioned survey and construction of 2648 schools would begin in the first phase.
They vowed thousands of jobs would be created through these development programs next year.
