KABUL (SW) – Ghulam Farooq Majrooh, a member of the Afghan government's negotiating team, said in an interview with Salam Watandar that the government negotiating team would leave for Doha in two days.
Majrooh said the Intra-Afghan talks are scheduled to begin on Aug. 16. He added that the issue had also been raised with the Taliban.
The government's negotiating team is headed by Mohammad Masoom Stanekzai.
Meanwhile, the Taliban on Wednesday warned Daesh is planning to assassinate with alleged government help their prisoners set to be freed. In a statement, the Taliban spokesman, Zabihullah Mujahed, expressed 'serious concerns' and demanded parties involved in peace process to be extra vigilant in completing the prisoners' swap.
