JALALABAD (SW) – AN improvised explosive device blast in Jalalabad on Tuesday killed a Nangarhar University professor, an official confirmed.
According to the police headquarters spokesman, Mubarez Atal, the NU head of languages and arts faculty, Professor Massoud Nekbakht got killed in this attack while three other people including his son got injured in the attack.
There has been no immediate claim of responsibility for the attack.
Eye-witnesses said the blast was caused by a magnetic IED attached to Professor Nekbakhth’s car.
