Number of coronavirus patients surges to 423

KABUL (SW) – Health officials on Tuesday confirmed the number of coronavirus cases in the country have surged to 423.

Deputy Minister for public health, Fada Mohammad Peykan told a press conference here that the death toll from the coronavirus in the country has reached to 14 and the number of recovered patients has reached to 20.

He said that more than 3,000 suspected cases of coronavirus have been tested in the ministry’s laboratories so far. The deputy minister pointed out that among those infected with the coronavirus, 91 of them had a history of traveling to countries affected by the coronavirus.
