PUL-I-ALAM (SW): In a clash between nomads and locals of Baraki Barak district of Logar province, 1 person died and 3 more were injured on Saturday evening.
Local authorities in Logar said the incident took place in Dasht-i-Khaki area of the district.
Samar Gul Rashid, the chief of Baraki Barak district, confirming the incident told Salam Watandar that the dead and injured are local residents. He added that security forces have been dispatched to the site for an investigation.
For several years now, local residents of Baraki Barak and nomads have been struggling to deal with casualties and financial losses, but residents of Logar accuse the government of inability of resolving these disagreements.
