Nobel Peace Prize winners urge Saudi Arabia to cancel death penalties of youths

KABUL (SW): Ten of the Nobel Peace Prize winners have called on Saudi king and crown prince to cancel the death penalty for 14 young Saudis.

The youths were sentenced to the highest penalty for participating in the 2012 protests.

In a letter to the King of Saudi Arabia, the Nobel Peace Prize winners cited the execution of these 14 young people as "great injustice".

Lech Walesa, former President of Poland, José Ramos Horta, former President of the East Timor, Desmond Tutu of South African anti-apartheid figure, Kailash Satyarthi, the Indian Human Rights activists, and Frederik Willem de Klerk, Jody Williams, Leymah Gbowee and Tawakkol Karman are among the ten Nobel Peace Prize winners who want the cancellation of the death penalty for young Saudi protesters.
