JAWZJAN (SW): An anonymous source told Salam watandar that American Forces carried out an operation in the villages of Moghol and Sardara in Jawzjan, killing four civilians and two ISIS fighters and have captured an ISIS female fighter who is said to be a citizen of France.
According to the anonymous source, two NATO Helicopters landed in these villages approximately around 1 am and have left the area around 5 am this morning (Friday).
Meanwhile, Mohammad Raza Ghafoori, the spokesperson for the governor of Jawzjan rejected the involvement of NATO forces in the operation saying that the Afghan Security forces have performed an operation in Darzab district of Jawzjan and have arrested 9 ISIS fighters including 2 citizens of Uzbekistan and one citizen of France who is a female, and have killed 4 other ISIS fighters.
The ISIS group has not said anything to the media yet.
