NANGARHAR (SW): Local authorities in Nangarhar said the library was built with the budget of 20 million AFN in order to provide access to books and facilitate a learning opportunity for the residents of Nangarhar. After two and a half years, the construction work was completed today.
At the opening ceremony of the library, Rasool Bawari, Acting Minister of Information and Culture said that the cost of building this library has been paid from the MoIC developmental budget.
Gulab Mangal, the governor of Nangarhar said the library will soon start collecting books to fill the library.
The Nangarharians hailed the government effort building the library for them and urged the local authorities to enrich the library with different kinds of books.
