MPs address government’s leaders to put aside their differences

KABUL (SW): A number of lawmakers condemned yesterday’s suicide attack and urged upon government’s leaders to put aside their differences.

They asked the citizens to support and trust in Afghan National Security Forces (ANFS).

A massive explosion took place in Pul-i-Mahmud Khan area yesterday which left 64 dead and 347 more injured.

Saleh Mohammad Saleh, a member of parliament, said that it is time to put aside differences and support security forces.

He added that we should not allow the enemy to prevail.

Eng. Zakria, another MP, accused the US for neglecting to blacklist the Taliban. He said that those should be ashamed who called the Taliban as” political opposition” and “dissatisfied brothers”.

He added that those who can not differentiate between black and white are traitors.

The incident which took place yesterday has further brought the citizens together to declare their support for the security forces.

Blood donation campaign was launched across the country today for the wounded victims of the deadly incident.
