KABUL (SW): Shah Wali was one of the victims of the bloody suicide attack on Saturday in Kabul which took the lives of many civilians and put many families in mourn of their loved ones.
“We met at the university, and fell in love with each other and 20 months and 12 days ago we got married. The result of this love is our 10 months old son, however, on Saturday of this week, all my dreams shattered and my life became bitter forever”, said Siah Mo, Shah Wali’s wife.
A dark circle surrounded her eyes due to the continuity of mourning for her loved one, her red face has turned pale, high emotions, sobbing and flow of tears regularly stopped her from talking.
She said that they had a lot of dreams and desires for their future which all shattered at once. “I don’t have any demand from the government”, she repeatedly said.
Siah Mo said that until the bloody day that she lost her husband, she was thinking of life as a ‘gift of God’, however, the loss of her husband changed her life forever and her shoulders are heavily burdened by the loss of her husband.
Shah Wali’s dream was to have their son raised in a peaceful environment and according to Siah Mo; her husband had always said that he will do anything to provide a bright future for their son. “With all these problems, what should I do now”, Siah Mo said while wiping her face with napkins.
Despite all the problems and difficulties Shah Wali faced in life, he graduated from the Law and Political Science Department of Kabul University and recently practiced law as a defense attorney.
Dawlat Ali, a friend of Shah Wali said he has no hope in his life since the day he heard the news of his friend’s death.
The tragic bloody attack on Saturday not only affected Siah Mo but hundreds of other families have been mourning loved ones lost in the suicide attack in front of the Ministry of Interior which killed more than 100 and injured many.
