KABUL (SW): The Ministry of Interior Affairs (MoIA) on Thursday expressed readiness to ensure foolproof security for Eid days, especially for Shiite religious centers.
Najib Danish, the spokesman for MoIA, at a news conference, said all security and defense forces are ordered to be prepared to provide security to the citizens on Eid days.
He added that there are about 400 Shiite mosques, religious schools, and centers in Kabul. He urged the people to inform the security forces if they gather at these centers on Eid days.
Tuesday, Kabul witness another terrorist attack after last Friday’s complex attack on Imam Zaman mosque in police district 11 of the capital. This was the 6th attack by Daesh in a chain of attacks on Shiite holy places.
