KABUL (SW) – The Ministry of Education has devised the ‘Decade of Education’ strategy aimed at lifting the standards of education in the country.
Noorya Nuzhat, spokesperson for the MoE, told Salam Watandar the strategy would focus on subjects enabling the fresh graduates to get jobs immediately after completing studies. She said the strategy has considered both quality and quantity for this policy.
The policy has been approved by the presidential palace, she said.
The MoE would work together with the international community, civil society and citizens to make this strategy work.
This comes as president, Mohammad Ashraf Ghani, has already declared 2018 as the ‘Year of Support for Education’.
