
KABUL (SW): A memorandum of understanding was signed between Faizullah Zaki, Afghanistan’s Minister of Labor, Social Affairs, Martyrs and Disabled and Naseer ibn Thani Al-Halmi, UAE’s Minister of Human Resources for the employment of Afghan workers in UAE.
This MoU was signed on the sidelines of the 107th Session of International Labor Conference in Geneva, Switzerland.
The United Arab Emirates (UAE) Minister of Human Resources said that UAE will provide grounds for the hiring of Afghan workers and he is hopeful to continue bilateral cooperation between Afghanistan and UAE.
In this meeting, it was also decided that a committee should be formed to implement this agreement between the two countries.
The agreement states that Afghan workers will be hired based on the strategy of the UAE’s Ministry of Human Resources. The agreement also states that every Afghan worker who is hired in the UAE will receive a detailed contract, in which the rights, privileges, duties and working conditions will be clearly and explicitly stated.
