Although the officials at the Ministry of Energy and Water have not said anything in this regard yet, a credible source within the MoEW told Salam Watandar that the MoEW had shared the travel plans of Minister Osmani with Interior Minister, head of National Security, and local administrative offices, but yesterday when Minister Osmani decide to go to Mazar-e Sharif, the authorities at the airport did not allow him to fly.

According to the source, when the Minister of Energy and Water, Mr. Osmani has asked the reason, the authorities have said that they received orders to ban him from traveling. The source also added that the presidential palace has been trying to limit the authorities of the Executive Offices of CEO Abdullah Abdullah and gain his achievements in favor of the Arg.

The source added that CEO Abdullah Abdullah has always supported Minister Osmani and has discussed the issues faced by the Minister with the President; however, this issue has not yet been resolved. The source also informed Salam Watandar that Minister Osmani had been introduced as Minister of Energy and Water by the CEO Abdullah Abdullah and have been receiving orders from the CEO’s office.

Shah Hussain Mortazawi, the deputy spokesperson for the presidential palace told Salam Watandar that unless the Minister of Energy and Water does not react on this issue, the presidential palace does not comment.

We wanted to have the view of the CEO’s office on this issue but did not succeed.

A while back, Minister Osmani said at a news conference that the Presidential Palace had prevented him from attending the Tapi project inauguration in Herat.
