FARAH CITY (SW) – A military helicopter has crashed in Farah province killing two personnel onbarod, an official said on Wednesday.
Khair Mohammad Noorzai, a member of the provincial council, said the incident took place in the Parchaman district of the province. He added the chopper was returning to the military base after supplying necessary supplies to the soldiers in the district when it faced the accident.
He added a team of the security forces has reached the site to assess the situation.
Based on the information, this is the third chopper to fall in this fashion in Farah in the past two years.
