CHAGCHARAN (SW): Pro-Daesh militants have shot dead at least three farmers in Ghor’s central Feroz Koh city.
Local officials have confirmed this incident that took place in the northern Murghab area of Feroz Koh. Iqbal Nizami, spokesman for the provincial police headquarters, told Salam Watandar the farmers were shot dead when they were on their way home after a busy day at the fields.
Motives behind the killings are not known yet. The deceased farmers were said to be residents of Dawa Jan, Shoraba and Asparman villages. Pro-Daesh militants have not commented about it.
It comes as up to nine civilians are already under the custody of the Taliban following their abduction few months ago from the same area.
