KABUL (SW) – Residents of the capital Kabul have long been reeling from messy traffic in this rapidly growing city.

Many residents of the city have experienced delays for their important engagements, some have even seen their loved ones losing lives on the way to hospitals due to the chaotic traffic.

Lack of proper public transport system, timeworn cars plying on the roads with no designated bus stations are some of the concerns millions of Kabul residents have been facing.

In this backdrop, the Kabul Municipality has begun work on establishing bus stations in different parts of the city. The move has been hailed by the general public.

Ghafoor and Wahid, two Kabul resident, said two precious hours of their working day are lost every day in the messy Kabul traffic. They expressed hope establishment of the designated bus stations would bring some sort of order to the traffic in the city.
